AA is not covered under any legal status re: anonymity. That is reserved for the Catholic Church and confessions made to a priest. In AA, we all are just average citizens. Removing the story would make it appear AA is a cult that has to have secrets like Scientology.

As a conservative, I always respected Oprah’s talent, drive and absolutely good efforts to the advance of the human race.

When I see how much hatred she conceals for those who disagree with her is revealing.

Her abject hatred for a woman whom has made a success of herself on her own merit for the simple reason that she disagrees with her politics makes me realize that Oprah is just another wealthy tool of the left.

If Oprah could be intellectually honest with herself, she would admit that, regardless of politics, her hero Obama has never accomplished anything on his own. Anything. Palin, for all her missteps and mistakes, is a self made women.

Just like Oprah.

I go to AA. The Traditions are great. However, many people do NOT follow the Traditions. I can see why no one wants to sponsor Glenn Beck. I don’t like the man, either, and think he is nuts. On the other side of it all, many sponsors act like they can belittle folks and have the “do as I say not as I do” while their own character defects are running rampant and their “living principles” are bunk.

Thanks for all the information on the sponsors list. I plan to avoid every one of them. I will also forward the list to my friends and family. I have two GOP siblings that I do not associate with because they supported BushCo. Haven’t visited my brother since 1998, when he tried to sway my opinion of Bill Clinton. Geez. Republicans are holier than thou, self-righteous, lying sacks of shite. The people who impeached Clinton were cheating on their wives and/or closet gays. You can’t make this sh*t up. He put us in the black for the first time since 1980, when Reagan had our loan interest rates up to 14% and put millions out of work, and he had his hands tied behind his back by Trent Lott, Newt Gingrich, Henry Hyde, et al. All of whom were having ilicit affairs. GOP = Scum of the earth.

Wars are incredibly expensive. Attempting, as Bush did, to conduct a war without paying for it with increased taxes was economically crippling and forcing our children and grandkids to pay for it was just plain cowardly.

The true horrors of war need to be seen and experienced to be fully understood. But we had a president who was AWOL during his brief military stint and a Vice-President who was a draft dodger. They had no concept of the wholesale death, life-wrecking pain and trauma to the young American kids they sent into battle. In truth, I seriously doubt whether they gave it a second’s consideration. They wanted the oil.
